Simplifies Hydrometer Measurements
Although you can't get the thief down far enough to pull out a sample large enough to measure in the thief as advertised, it does make pulling a sample much easier and cleaner than other thief's I have used. As an added bonus, the top is too large to fall into a 6.5 gallon carboy, less I have to worry about.
