The big surface area of the spiral design allows a shorter pickup time of wood character. Allowing adequate wood impact in a matter of 7 to 14 days of contact time.
Light Toast adds structure and lifts the fruit with a delicate note of coconut. French oak will provide a milder aroma and flavor impact but more tannin than American oak
Use 1 stick per 3 gallons. Spirals may also be snapped into smaller portions to achive desired flavor intensity.
